John Marak 

Inspired by the ever-fluctuating urban environment and the natural weathering of apparently stable materials like metal and cement, John Marak creates paintings that reflect the unintentional patterns and continuous changes that he comes across. A Kansas City native, Marak uses his background in painting, ceramics and graphic design to create aesthetic objects that look unearthed and already in the middle of processes of change.
